Show Transcript
Let's do this. Usually Tuesday's show is Tales of the Strange and Unexplained, but we're not doing that here today. No siree. Today we're doing a little bit of a wrap up, but also our once a year AMA, Ask Me Anything. If and only if you're watching this live, of course. So that's the perk of subscribing to YouTube and hitting that notification bell. (00:40) So you're able to come in right here right now live as i'm speaking to you as we speak so what i did want to start off with is 2023 was a really interesting year jimmy and i did a whole recap of the aspect of ufos for 2023 but while i did sound very optimistic i'm like dude a lot happened which it did Looking back on it now, like really simmering into it, digesting all the information, I thought to myself, looking at the year from January of 2023 into December, there were a lot of unfulfilled promises, at least when it comes to the UFO aspect. (01:26) And Whenever this topic would try to go out into the public and gain seriousness or the government aspect to it, it was cut in every single angle. We saw it time and time again. And the best example is the UAPDA, also known as the Schumer Rounds Amendment. And it just seems that and bear with me here. It seems as if. (01:49) Let's say we were to disclosure right here today. Let's just say, for instance, the government and they say aliens. Yep. We've been in communication. Yep. They are real. Yes, they are visiting us. And, you know, you and I, we'd be living the dream. We'll say, yes, I've been waiting for this day since I came out of the womb. (02:07) But here's another aspect to this. And that is it would open a Pandora's box. because once that aspect is admitted, there's going to be a million other questions and people wanting answers to that. Here's one thing. People will never, ever, ever be satisfied, number one. But number two, the paranormal, UFOs, cryptids, they seem to be all interconnected. (02:34) And if we get an answer or vindication for one of them, We should think we'll get it for the rest of them. But will we actually? That is probably one of the hardest questions to ask. And even though this year is coming to a close, we are not that much closer to a lot of the answers when it comes to the UFO phenomenon, the paranormal, cryptids. (02:59) And you know what? Here's another example. Any TV show that comes to cryptids, the paranormal, and UFOs You watch it for the entertainment. There's great production value, sometimes great funding, and they're great for entertainment. OK, but actually finding the answers in almost every show that I watch, I'm left hanging. (03:19) We are given no answers. It's only a million more questions or they just drop the ball on you. And I'm thinking this infuriates me. One reason to why I can't watch too many of them because I have expectations of, okay, I'm going to watch an episode, gain some knowledge and get some answers. (03:39) But that's not the case. But let me ask you this for those catching this live. What's your favorite mysterious TV show? I'm not saying to YouTube or a podcast, but I'm saying like a TV show. Which one is your favorite? I think for me, one of my guilty pleasures is Ghost Adventures. I find that one mainly for the entertainment value. (04:03) I enjoy that one when I have a few minutes. But just like that episode and so many others, you're left with so many more questions than answers. Also, something or at least someone that actually has been pushing very hard to receive answers when it comes at the very least to the afterlife episode. Take a guess. (04:27) There's one person this year that has been really pushing for answers and attempting to collect the most brilliant minds. I'll give you a second to guess. If you guessed Robert Bigelow, you are correct because the Bigelow Institute for Consciousness Studies, BICS, which was founded in 2020 by aerospace entrepreneur Robert Bigelow, When he originally created it, he wanted to research into the survival of human consciousness after physical death and following from that the nature of, quote, the afterlife. (05:03) So in 2023 and I have the month here. From August of 2023 into May 1st of 2024, he has created this project called The Challenge, which funds research into contact and communication with postmortem and discarnate consciousness, also known as the afterlife or the other side, leading to the reception of higher order information of value to mankind. (05:33) And he says that there's going to be a handful of groups. And in total, it'll be about a million dollars in grants, which is fantastic. But he is putting his money where his mouth is in the sense of he's like, I want answers. I'm not going to lollygag about it. I'm going to collect and find and bribe people with money to get those answers and for those that don't know him he was also the previous owner of skinwalker ranch as well so i am looking forward to see to seeing what these (06:05) researchers come up with what they find out by May 1st of 2024, because it's going to be interesting to see what they have to say and where their research takes them. So we're going to get in the aspect of our yearly once a year AMA. If you have a question, please put it in all caps. But I will say this super chats will get first priority. (06:28) I just want to mention that. But I did ask a question on what was your favorite TV show? And Annie says Expedition Bigfoot. That's a pretty good one. I do like that one. Cecile says, I still need to watch all of Skinwalker Ranch. It's pretty good. I know I pronounced Cecil, but I said Cecile. Forgive me on that one. (06:51) Let's see. Let's see who else. Vashtaz colony got canceled, but cool alien invasion show and like project blue book as well. I am so disappointed. They did not make another season of project blue book because that was honestly, it was a great TV show and I want more of it, but we're not going to get it. (07:12) And I'm, I'm very sad about that. I really am. so when it comes to this upcoming year i did also want to mention that this week is going to be a lot of recaps so for thursday with jimmy and i we're going to be looking attempting to use our crystal ball and see what we can expect for 2024 and then on friday for weekly strange news i'm so pumped for friday because it's going to be all of the craziest, strangest news of the year. (07:41) So I'll be going through all of my notes starting from January into December and picking out maybe the top 10 articles that really blew my socks off and maybe yours as well. So you do hang tight for those shows. Um, make sure to subscribe and hit the notification bell so you can catch them live. All right. (08:04) Cause it's not as fun watching them on replay. Cause right now we're, we're talking back and forth just like this. And the great thing about today's show is that there's no notes. Only those quick notes that I read about fix Bigelow's consciousness Institute. Those are all my notes. (08:18) Other than that, it's just a conversation between you and I, and I never do a show without notes. Never, ever, ever. today is an exception for the end of the year kind of style that we have today and i do want to say hello to everyone watching this live and alien girl one one one hello and welcome brown dwarf goth so cal squatcher john aside tyler welcome welcome welcome anthony as well jay rock on oscar says what sparked your interest in the ufo and the paranormal and thanks for being a member for seven months here on youtube that is so exciting so what sparked my interest a quick answer to that is the twilight zone the best tv show on the planet of course next to father ted and the first three seasons of spongebob (09:11) But that's really how it started. They were asking questions on things that allowed your imagination to wander. Because the unique thing about the Twilight Zone compared to any other TV show is that they're very open-ended endings. which sounds really weird in the sentence, but you get what I mean. (09:31) And so as a child, that's where I got that. Just like most people it's, it's, it's, it's in their childhood, even in their infancy, they're like, this is the coolest thing ever. And then that passion, that interest, never dies out. But I will say parents do play a big role with my parents are into that kind of stuff as well. (09:50) Even though we've never spoken about it, um, openly until rather recently, to be fair with you, they were always, and they always have been very open-minded with all aspects of the mysterious. So that's really how it started. And maybe, um, One of my favorite things about my childhood was watching every single New Year's the sci-fi channel and they would play the Twilight Zone for 48 hours flat. (10:22) So they would play all the episodes ever. And my dad and I would order pizza and eat popcorn and try not to fall asleep, trying to stay up for those 48 hours every single year. That was our tradition. And that was like the best aspect ever. Scott says, have you had a paranormal experience? And I do want to say for those watching this live, if you have a question, put it in all caps. (10:47) It just makes it a lot easier for me to read and catch in the live chat. So I've had some odd experiences. A lot of them I don't mention just because I'm still kind of figuring them out. But the one that I have talked about is my haunted vacuum experience. It's like one of my favorite cases or stories for me. (11:09) It's also a case because I wrote it down. But a quick version of that, I've told it a few times, but that is... My very fresh, my very freshman year, my very first year in college, I had obviously no money and no money to buy a vacuum. So I was sitting next to this girl. She was a sophomore or a junior in college and she was better. (11:33) She was well off. And so I said, hey, is it OK if I could borrow your vacuum? I just need it for the day and then I'll return it back to you. She's like, sure, no problem. Whatever you need, I'll pass it to you. I'm like, fantastic. Thank you so much. That's where all the – everything went downhill from there because I take her old vacuum. (11:53) Like this is from the bloody 90s kind of vacuum, okay? I needed it because I had a carpeted floor, and at that time, I had a cat. So you know how much cats shed. And so I – bring the vacuum into my place. And it was game over from there because right where the front door is, I have a bathroom and I used to have a really big candle on the toilet seat, not like the top of the toilet. (12:19) And it's really heavy, about a pound. So nothing can really move it. There was no earthquakes. There was no wind during that going through there. I mean, there was no way for this candle to move by any means. As soon as I bring the vacuum in, I've had that candle for a while there and nothing's ever happened. (12:35) It falls straight into the trash can. And I'm like, well, that's weird. And I don't think much of it. I put it back on top of the toilet and I continue organizing my stuff to be able to vacuum. and then the candle falls again into the trash and i said okay once understandable two times you can only fool me once and so i think this is right before i was really getting interested in the aspect of research into the paranormal and ufos so my knowledge was limited All the knowledge I had, it was television knowledge, which is already terrible. (13:10) And I thought to myself, okay, obviously I have a demon in my house. I got some kind of angry ghost. What do I have to do? I got to put salt everywhere. So I'm sprinkling salt on my doors, on my windows, around the house, every corner. And I thought to myself, therefore, now I am protected. God has saved me with the salt. (13:32) If only I knew how silly that is. In some aspects, it might work. But here's the thing. I was sprinkling salt. I wasn't putting full on lines of salt. So I was seasoning the carpet. All right. Not protecting myself from a demon. And so nothing was working. I was still getting all these weird things happening in my place. (13:55) So what do I do after that? I go to the Internet and I say, Google, how do I exercise a demon from my place? Right. And it sends me these soundtracks and then I start playing them. I'm like, OK, so obviously has to work. Thank you, Google. And then I hear this screeching sound coming out of the speakers, which is obviously not a part of the soundtrack. (14:16) And there was no issues happening with my laptop. And then. As soon as that happened, I called that girl so quick. And I said, hey, sweet pea, mamita, please let me return that vacuum to you. By this time, it's 10 p.m. And she's like, no, Christina, just give it to me in the morning. I said, please, no, please, for the love. (14:36) Please take your vacuum back. She's like, no, it's fine. So what do I do? I put that bad boy in storage. I take it, which is like an outdoor storage, by the way. And I say, look, vacuum, you aren't going to stay there until I return you back. Do not bother me. Let me sleep in peace. And I will return you back to your owner. (14:57) After that happened, as soon as the sun started cracking from the ground into the sky, as suns do, and we only have one, I ran to that girl's house. When I mean run, I mean I took the car and I went vroom, vroom, vroom. And I took it all the way over. I gave it to her and I never spoke to her again. (15:16) years later here's an update to the story for those that i've known the story years later at the grocery store this happened last month i haven't seen this girl ever since that vacuum story i was at the grocery store buying a few things and i see the cashier and i'm like why does this girl look so familiar what is it about this girl because it's years you age rather quickly after college And I was like, and then she smiled and I said, oh my God, it's the haunted vacuum girl. (15:48) And her name by this time had already escaped me. Luckily, she was wearing a name tag. And what did I do? Instead of interview her with the long line behind me, I took my groceries and ran. And I never looked back. Do I regret it? A hundred percent. I wanted to ask her everything about that, but I had no time. (16:04) And I also didn't want to say, hey, can I casually have your number to interview you on your haunted vacuum if you've ever had an experience as well? No. No. That'd be weird. She was like, and who are you? So I didn't do that. And that's the update to that story. Now you know my paranormal experience. (16:28) share yours for those watching this in the live chat or in the comments as well I do try to read all the comments share share your paranormal experience in a few sentences if you can because I want to know and I bet other people do as well um let me just look through okay So Dauber says, do you have any updates on the Mexican Peruvian aliens? And did some other countries make more tests? Thank you. (17:01) Great question. And again, for your questions, put them in all caps. It makes it a lot easier. So when it comes to these Peruvian mummies, as for updates, I know that Japan did, I don't know if they did like test tests on it, but what I do know, and this was posted online, is that they showed, Japanese people doing electronic tests and showing it to a certain news outlet. (17:32) If you were to ask me which one, I would say you have to figure that one out because I'm really not sure, nor do I speak Japanese, but I would love to. That's such a cool language. So that is the main update that I know about is that not only did it make international news, but the Japanese population does also have an interest in it as well. (17:55) Hopefully we'll get more answers in 2024 since the DNA results are public and there was a constant invitation by these professors to do their own research, having an open invitation to the world saying, hey, if you want to look into this, you can. So hopefully we will get more answers in 2024. And John, as I thank you, that makes it. (18:24) lovely, very easy. Tyler says Ghostbuster goes catch your vacuum still had a ghost in it. You know, I didn't think that far through I didn't think to myself, maybe I should use the vacuum to suck up the ghost entity of some kind. My first thought was get rid of it as fast as possible. Mark says, What is the most compelling event of the year in your opinion? This is a good question. (18:55) So I'm going to kind of break this down because the most compelling event that took place in 2023, in my opinion, was probably the first Mexican hearing. And let me explain why for those that might begin to roll their eyes and say, oh, completely fake. Let me explain this. Because it doesn't matter if you think they're fake or real. (19:17) The biggest takeaway is that it made international news. People were freaking out about it. So much so that the Mexican government had a second hearing that was full of data and research and bringing in professionals. And again, I'm not telling you to believe it or not. Push that to the side. But it's the aspect of how the media handled it, how the world handled it, and the amount of people that put their credentials on the line for it. (19:52) So that was one aspect. event that I've found truly profound that will without a doubt be in the history books. And of course, we can bring in the UAP witness hearing that took place in July with Grush, Graves, and Fravor. Fantastic. It's a great start, but it didn't have that wow factor compared to the Mexican hearing. (20:16) Again, I'm looking at this from a from touching the world experience, if that makes sense. When it comes to the UAP topic, people look at the US. They say, how are they handling it? How are they addressing this? What are they doing to convey the message, right? But then you have Mexico coming along and saying, well, we're going to show you bodies, right? What everyone wanted, they showed it to you. (20:42) But were they new? No. And from back from, they were known about 2016, 2017. So that was the most compelling to me. And of course, that varies from person to person. But let me flip that question right back at you. Take a second to think about it or write it down. In your opinion, what was the most compelling? thing that happened in 2023 referring to the mysterious of course not just like any kind of news you come here for the strange news for the mysteries for the unexplained right yes i hope so you feel a bit of entertainment as well entertainment as well all of the above poor k no let's let's see (21:32) Dude, like reading these, it's hard. Okay. Peace of Mind says, what's the best book you've read this year? The best book I've read this year. There's actually a few. So, and they're just like really funny is that they're not even mysterious related. So for those that don't know, and I don't talk about this very often because it's more personal, but I... (22:01) have always had an interest in religious studies, but I practice Buddhism and then aspects of Hinduism, just like understanding their mentality and their practices. So I like to, I enjoy to read those kinds of books. Also like Autobiography of Yogi written by Paramahansa Yogananda. That one, when I first read it, I think it's like 400 pages. (22:28) It took me six months to read. Trying to reread it takes me another like four months. It's one of those books that take a while to, but it's those kinds of books that i enjoy reading in my free time um because mysterious books paranormal books i i read a lot of those for my shows but i wouldn't classify them as like the best book of the year, if that makes sense. (22:57) I do want to state that right now we have 372 people watching this live. If you're enjoying this once a year AMA, hit that like button. Let's get to 300 likes right now. And so I do like to read books on mindfulness and meditation. Those are my favorites, but I don't have one specific one per se, but that kind of style. (23:20) That's my favorite. It's kind of like a more broad answer. show sets father ted was amazing i did watch the christmas special of father ted on christmas i had to which is the lingerie episode um and it's it's it's also their longest episode it's their episodes are usually 20 minutes this one was 55 because it's a christmas special and it was awesome you should watch father ted i swear if you're watching this show with me right now You have to watch Father Tad with hot chocolate and popcorn, preferably. (24:00) OK, so also remember to put your questions in all caps or you can support the channel with a super chat question, which is much easier to spot. And of course, they do get first priority as well. So let's see what other questions. Where can we see the best UAP videos? So right before I used to do interviews and shows like this, I used to do UFO video analysis videos. (24:27) So you can find some pretty good ones here on this channel, like right when this channel gave birth. But the most compelling ones... You get a lot of blobs, a lot of lights in the sky, but it's always nice to see how the government reacts to these and the ones that they have disclosed, right? I think those can be very compelling. (24:52) But to find them on this channel, just kind of scroll down to the bottom to all of my videos to see the video analysis. Do recommend that. All Work and Lope says, what do you think is the best UFO story or evidence? Best UFO story or evidence. So a lot of things that we see are subjective. It's all about perspective. (25:20) And someone's always going to twist it to make it benefit them. Have it be to say that aliens are real or that they're not. You see what I'm saying here? So for myself, I think the most compelling UFO story is going to go back to the Mexican UFO hearing. because it touched the world compared to other things that we've seen and it was at the very least symbolically under oath but let's say you go to a conference um they can say those people can say whatever they want right there there isn't any consequence but let's say if you look at the (25:59) UAP witness hearing with Grush, Graves, and Fravor, that was under oath. So everything that they said had to be true. Otherwise, there would be significant consequences such as prison. And then the Mexican hearing, it was symbolic. So there weren't consequences, but you're putting everything on the line, mainly your credentials. (26:18) So I think those, in my opinion, were some of the most compelling. And now you know. Peace of mind is asking the real questions here. And he says, why does Puck smile all the time, but he never speaks? You know, he's a really good listener. That's why he has really big ears. And as the saying goes, you have two ears and one mouth for a reason. (26:42) Puck lives up to that every single day. D says, outside of the U.S., where do you want to do some paranormal research? Well, only in the United States. would be beneficial to travel. It's just a lot easier without visas and stuff like that. But if I could travel anywhere just in general, and I would find an excuse to do paranormal research, it'd be Costa Rica without question or Japan. (27:13) Now, Japan has a wacky history When it comes to the paranormal, the yokai, right? They have all of their own UFO sightings as well. And they have the snow and hot springs and amazing food. Like it is a win, win, win, win, win situation. All right. I pick Costa Rica because it's beautiful and I actually speak the language. (27:36) Makes it very easy. But imagine walking to a foreign country, not knowing any lick of their language. Might be beautiful when walking around. is an issue but now we do live in modern times 2023 2024 you can just have a little app and it does all the translations for you but what if you have no cellular data no wi-fi what are you gonna do get the old dictionary write the old translation book like back in the day and try going through that good luck so those two places japan costa rica easy John Aside says, who's the person you most want to interview in 2024? (28:23) I'm actually going to leave that there. You'll have to find out. You will have to see what we do for interviews in 2024. I did take a break for 2023. We only did a limited amount of interviews versus doing them every single week. to where I mainly focused on more focused interviews. But 2024 seems very promising. (28:49) And I don't want to spoil it. I got some stuff already lined up. I do. I'm very excited. Let's see. Chris says, some people say something big is coming next year. What do you think that is? So we've heard this rumor before of... Maybe we'll get disclosure. Something big is going to happen. (29:14) What do I think? My honest, honest, honest opinion is there's going to be some kind of disaster, natural disaster, or man-made. And maybe if we're lucky, which our luck is running out real quick, maybe ET might say, open sesame and fix at the very least extreme natural disasters or manmade disasters to the point where there isn't as much suffering to the planet and to the people. (29:49) Now, will that actually happen? That's kind of like where I would like to happen if possible, but I don't want the world to have any kind of natural disaster, right? But we're getting those all the time. So is that, can that be planned? Now that's a whole question. A whole different question. (30:08) And I don't know the answer to that. But it would be interesting to see what takes place in 2024. Are we going to get some kind of like government disclosure? That's a catch 22. Are they really going to give you anything good that you don't already know? Is it a part of some kind of narrative to benefit them and not the people? That's where it gets really mushy. (30:27) It gets you get into muddy water and it's difficult to kind of decipher what's misinformation and what isn't. But I will say a disclosure will come from the people and not from the government at the very end of the day. Beats and Tapes. That's awesome. Says, what's your favorite UFO mystery movie of the year? Did Moment of Contact come out this year? Was it this year? Because that one was my favorite. (31:03) Like, I was... So, what's... This year is the low key of a blur. But if it did come out this year, that was my favorite documentary. Now, my favorite, like... If I had to pick a TV show, I liked the. I just don't watch like that much television, so I don't know, but moment of contact. If it came out in 2023, I'm pretty sure it did. (31:31) I feel confident. What is Father Terry? I think you mean Father Ted. It is the best TV show of all time. It's an Irish sitcom from the 1990s. Highly recommend. You can find all the episodes on YouTube. The quality is a little meh, you know, but I swear it is worth your time and it will make you laugh. I watch it whenever I'm a little sad or if I have free time or if I feel like it, I will find any excuse to watch Father Ted and only 20 episodes and I've seen it thousands at the very least five of them 50 times i love it the jokes land every single time john says what would be your favorite place to investigate oh okay so definitely the bridgewater triangle in massachusetts for puck the puck wedgie obviously i want to see a puck wedgie in the wild and not (32:30) like this one. Also, Skinwalker Ranch would be fantastic. And some other locations would be probably all of Washington, if I were to start doing Bigfoot research, you know, in the sense of boots on the ground investigations. Probably any coastal areas, because a lot of them, have it be on the East Coast or the West Coast, they have a lot of paranormal sightings and UFO sightings. (32:55) So that would be ideal. And... me think where else texas has their fair share to now to be fair it is the biggest state aside from alaska in the united states so you better hope you better bet your boots they're going to have a lot of paranormal and ufo encounters there as well so the all of those honestly all of the above but those are some some big ones there android says it's been amazing watching you evolve your thoughts on so much over two years if you could please talk to yourself from two years ago for one minute what would you say put put the stutter aside all right put the speech impediment to the side and just say what's on your mind and don't be as nervous because i grew up with a speech impediment and with the stutter and i was very nervous coming on doing a channel and having it show (33:50) But with years of practice doing this, it's gotten a lot easier. And when it does come up, when I do feel stressed or not getting the amount of oxygen that I need, it comes out. And I just apologize. I said, okay, I have a stutter deal. It's fine. So I think I would have told myself that two years ago. (34:09) I'm just, you're going to be okay. You're going to be fine. Mark, and thank you guys so much. What will we learn next? in 2024, Christina? Well, I am running for president. I'm just kidding. I'm just kidding. I have no idea. We're going to find out together. And that's what this channel is all about. (34:28) It's about a journey of discovery. And I have so many questions and I want answers to them. So that is something that we will figure out simultaneously. And Tim, thank you for that. And Miss Firejack, thank you for becoming a member. Thank you. And Ron, thank you. It says knee. It isn't 350 bucks, but it should help with your RV fund a little. (34:51) That is so, so kind. Thank you so much for that. All of you. I really, really appreciate it. And I think I lost my place. Okay. Katkins still one of the best names ever. Christina, are you going to interview David Grush? Keep an eye out for that one. That's a great question. We're going to find that one out together as well. (35:14) That's why you're here on this channel to learn with me. Oh, let me see. Let me see. Let me see. I feel like I'm I'm I'm behind. Oh, cosmic bringing in some great questions. Have you ever looked into missing four on one books and movies? I've seen all of his documentaries and I have one of his books and I, uh, I'm, I really like David politis is research. (35:42) I think it's. The first of its kind, um, that's come public and that's reached such a, a good amount, a good audience. And it's one where he's very, um, what's the word I want to use vocal about water. okay and he's the one that brought up that it's mushroom pickers usually from german descent that have the highest statistic of getting abducted by extraterrestrials i'm just saying i'm just i'm just saying don't be german and don't be mushroom picking simultaneously okay lock your doors (36:25) But I didn't mean to say abducted, but I meant to say like going missing. Also maybe alien abductions as well. But that's – David Politis' research is missing 411. It's people that have gone missing in very mysterious ways. That isn't your typical ones where they get found a few months later or a year later, but it's the ones where there is very little evidence or there is just – all of the evidence is leading towards a dead end. (36:52) That's kind of the more research that he looks into. And if you aren't familiar with it, it is something that I think is worth your time to look into. And David, thank you for that. I really appreciate that super chat. Thank you. But I, between you and me, I prefer hot chips and maybe hot ramen. Ooh, Yes, maybe some sexy quesadillas. (37:22) Delicious. But you know what? I will not try ice cream with hot sauce or like cayenne pepper. That's not for me. I like to keep my sweet and my spicy separate. I do. So much better. Okay, let me continue onward. I feel like I said, I'm so behind. Let me see. Anthony says, what do you make of meditation? So for everyone, it's different. (37:55) And you're going to get a lot of people that will like, say how amazing it is, how much it's going to help your life, how perfect it's gonna make you feel. They've never gone through meditation in their life. And let me explain why, in my opinion, at the very least. I've been meditating since I've been about 16. (38:15) That's when I joined or became a part of a Buddhist temple with my father. And it's not easy. And I'm not going to lie to you and say it is the easiest thing. It's going to make you feel amazing because sometimes it makes me feel very frustrated that I just can't quiet down the mind, but it's something that is very beneficial for my life and many other people's lives because it puts things into perspective. (38:39) Number one. And it, it also demonstrates to you that you can have five minutes to 10 minutes an hour of just doing nothing and not having the need to do whatever you usually do whatever that may be and so those those moments that you have of silence are so rare especially if you have a very busy lifestyle or you live in a big city right where everything's always rush rush rush we forget to have those moments for ourselves. (39:14) And so I think that it's very beneficial. It's very crucial. It has helped me with my stutter, my speech impediment. I will say that there are many benefits, but I will not lie to you and say, oh, it's so easy. Oh my gosh, it's going to change your life when you start right now. It takes a lot of dedication and determination to get to the basic results that you want. (39:38) Because the mind, from the moment you come, I would say like actually like the first year of your life, your mind's already running. You're already trying to analyze your environment, analyze everything around you. You talk to yourself all the time. You narrate to yourself. And if you don't, then you're crazy. (39:56) But if you do, you're normal. And you don't learn, at least in the Western world, to quiet the mind. And so when you start in adulthood, it's not easy. I'm not going to lie to you and say that it is. So that's my little spiel on it. But I do recommend it. I think that along with Father Ted and Missing 411, it is worth your time. (40:24) Let me look. You know, doing this live, you know, there's a little bit of dead air and it's interesting. Crypt Keeper, thank you for that. It says, wow, YouTube is blocking my super chats because this one went through fine. So sick of this censorship. Yeah, YouTube has that little thing about itself. (40:49) I know because I've been through it. I know what it's like. So thank you for that. But I'm sorry that you're going through the same things that other people have. And it's just disappointing. It really is. Don't like that. said i'm glad people are commenting on meditation that is really really fantastic saying that it's helpful um that it's great here it is he says meditation definitely helps it does it does but like when you jump on to a channel for instance and they say all of these things i think that they're just kind of following the narrative they're not really going through it for themselves (41:35) Because when you do, you become a little more realistic instead of unrealistic. And if you have any questions, please put them in all caps, please. It will make it a lot easier for me to cash them. If you're enjoying this once a year AMA, hit that like button down below and subscribe. Because we don't do this all the time, but we do three shows right here every single year, every single week. (42:06) But something that I do want to mention is that in my gut, I think the truth is wildly... It's wildly much more strange than any of us could imagine. It's the saying of truth is stranger than fiction. Does that make sense, David? And I'm going to have to agree with that. And again, that's just following my gut that I didn't use to follow. (42:32) But now I do, and it's gotten me out of a lot of things now. luckily listen to your gut it's good for you especially if you need to put like more fiber in there like yogurt and stuff right you want to listen to it like that as well peace of mind says any updates on the van yes yes okay so let me let me explain this because i know i said at the end of the year beginning of the year i'm gonna get an i get a van get an rv I know. (43:02) I know I said that. And yes, it is going to happen. No questions about it. You will be the second to know when it comes out. Patreon will be the first, obviously. But so I've been holding off on it because I have a budget. I don't want to exceed that budget. I know what I want. It's literally finding it. (43:20) That is the hardest thing to do. Number one, right? That is the number one thing that I'm just like struggling to find the perfect one because it's not just a place to travel, but it's also gonna be my home. And then also saving up for it. RVs aren't cheap, not even used ones. I know, cause I've been looking for years, but on top of that, it's kidding it out. (43:44) It's putting floor, it's putting cameras, it's putting research equipment, it is putting Starlink. All of these things obviously add up an immense amount plus the gas, plus, you know, all of the accommodations, the amenities and all those little things. Right. And the thing is that I don't, and I've been teeter-tottering back and forth on this, but I don't want to do a fundraiser. (44:07) I want to work for it. You know, if, if you people are enjoying it, they can be a patron, they can do super chats, but I don't want to say, oh yeah, just, just fund it like this. And it's all super easy. It's something that I want to work for. And I have been since my senior year in high school, but it shows you that I still don't have a perfect amount to get my dream RV that I think is like reasonable. (44:33) It's not an a million dollar RV, which those ones are super nice, but I hear they fall apart. I want to get a nice sturdy one. Cause it's going to be my studio, my research vehicle, my home. So I got to, I got to really pay good attention to the perfect one. And I'm not going to speed speed by one. (44:50) I thought I was, I thought I was. But I'm not going to. And Gizmo, thank you for that. That is so kind. Thank you. So now you know. That was kind of my update. But as I had mentioned, you will be the second to know when it comes out. Patreon will be the first. Mark says, what do you think of the Mandela effect? Jimmy and I did a whole show on the Mandela effect. (45:14) And we were even able to play a quiz or do a quiz, play a quiz. I don't see why it was a game. Watch it. You can just type it in the search bar here on my YouTube channel. And we go into detail on the Mandela effect and things that people have noticed that have changed over the years. And it's an interesting phenomenon. (45:33) And there are a lot of theories onto what's going on, but no one has a definite answer. And that's the aspect that I like most about it is how people are attempting to wrap their minds around it. Myself included, because not even I know what's going on. I think it's very weird. He says, what brings you the most peace of mind? Father Ted. (45:57) No, but in all in reality, in reality, what brings me peace of mind is those moments of meditation. Seriously, it's taking that deep breath, taking that step back and just reminding myself is that at the end of the day, everything is going to be OK. All of the hardships that I've already gone through in the past, I resolved them. (46:20) I overcame them. this obstacle will be no different. And so that little narrative that I tell myself has been very beneficial for keeping my peace of mind. And also just remembering that everything that we are seeing here at least in the mindset of Buddhism and Hinduism, it's all an illusion. It's all Maya. (46:43) We're in the realm of samsara, the realm of suffering. That's what it is. Because every single person you pass by in your life, in your parents' life, if the grocery store person's life, this grocery clerk person, whatever they're called, they're all going through some kind of suffering. (47:02) Nobody's an exception to that. And so... When we look at it from that aspect, we're also able to understand that it can be overcome through a state of mind because suffering is impermanent, okay? It's transient. And some might disagree and say, oh, well, I can't get over whatever's happening in my life. (47:23) I have no family, no money, no this, no that. But some of the most, for instance, some of the most poorest people are the most happy compared to the richest, right? And we've heard that a bunch of times before, right? But it's that mentality. This is where mindfulness and meditation come in. It is then that mentality that suffering is impermanent. (47:46) It is transient. It is an illusion. And you don't just get rid of suffering. You have to transcend it. You have to rise above it. Everyone's going to suffer. But when you realize it for what it is, that... is when you figure it out. And I'm still figuring that out. Now you know. Let me look. Looking for questions, please put them in all caps. (48:23) Again, please. It just makes it a lot easier. Oh, Kankins, heck yeah. Who is your favorite character on Father Ted? Mine is Mrs. Doyle. For myself, it's Father Jack. Father Jack or Bishop Brennan, okay? Any episode with Bishop Brennan is like the best episode. Father Jack is always bringing in the jokes. (48:48) But between you and me, my least favorite character is actually Mrs. Doyle. I'm not fond of her jokes as much. But Bishop Brennan, Father Jack. Oh, and, um, uh, my gosh, his name is escaping me now. It's, it's the, it's the laughing, the laughing priest. What's his name? Father Dunn, but what's his first name? Oh, well he goes, Ted, do you know where the, it's so funny. (49:21) It's so funny that I'm peeing myself right now. Um, and that's the episode of with Henry Sellers. Okay. Highly recommend. Dragon Heart says, have you ever seen a UFO? So yes, I have seen a UFO. And I've told the story so many times that if you do want to go back over some of my shows, you'll know more about it. (49:51) But it's one that I'll just quickly say it. It took place just a few years ago. And it's still one that I'm wrapping my head around to this day. That's like the honestly the biggest takeaway from that. So but yeah, watch a few episodes back and you'll be able to find that. Answer story in more detail, of course. (50:18) Sunsaber says British comedy is awesome fun. It is not all of it, but it is. I also like the young ones. That one's pretty funny as well. But Father Ted, it's Irish, but it's very similar to British humor. And it's not for everyone. It took me a while to get used to it. But once you do, 10 out of 10. (50:38) It's so good. Ron says, do you fear the unknown? This is a really fantastic question that I think we all need to ask ourselves because when we're in any situation that we haven't been in before, it can be rather nerve wracking, because we don't have the almost like the muscle memory in some aspects to understand or to understand what is going to happen. (51:05) So fearing the unknown is completely normal. Do I, in some aspects, it depends on where I am. But in if I were like in my day-to-day life or something abruptly happens, instead of freaking out about it, I say, okay, well, here we go. Let's find a solution. It's not just crying about the problem, but it's any, almost anything can be solved. (51:32) I would like 99.9% of anything can be solved. And so with that mentality, it does make it a little bit easier to not fear the unknown. Yes. Trucker all caps for questions. Yes, please. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Let me, let me just do, do, do, do, do. Some local head says, what character is the one played by Graham Norton? His, the father, the, the father is named. (52:09) It's going to bother me. I don't know. his name I know his name because I will tell you Graham Norton's character is also one of my least favorite ones he's so extreme and he needs to get hit by with the frying pan or something and his name is going to come to me but oh well oh but the really funny one is when they're all river dancing in their caravan that's like one of the best episodes uh with Graham Norton in it Oh gosh, it's going to bother me. (52:54) Someone's going to write it down. Someone's going to write it down. Because I know someone knows it and it's just escaping me. No, it's not Dougal. If someone said that. It's not. Pat Mustard. That's so funny. I'm so glad people are making references to Father Ted. That's amazing. (53:17) Because that episode is one of the best ones. I hear you're a racist now, Father. Who says I'm a racist? It's the best. You can't have that humor these days. But back in the day, 10 out of 10. So funny. Okay. Shane says, what's your favorite candy to add to milkshakes? Chocolate cookie or butter F? Butterfinger are you referring to? I don't drink a lot of milkshakes per se, but I do like, I do make the mass green tea. (53:46) frap with chocolate chips and also that topping the chocolate chips but also for my ice cream i love adding m&ms preferably mini m&ms and sprinkles those are my all-time favorite toppings but when it comes to milkshakes i just love like plain vanilla plain chocolate strawberry those are really good smoothies are also good like mango smoothies heck yeah Okay, so people are saying that Graham Norman Norton is Noel Furlong. (54:22) I'm guessing you guys looked that up because it's not ringing a bell, but I'm going to take your word for it since a handful of you said that one. Goes to show I'm a real fan, right? It doesn't seem like I am. I don't know its information. Um, John says, do you think intelligent alien life is living and visiting earth? This is a question that we ask a lot here on this channel. (54:54) And it's one that we have to think about why. Well, first there are several potential answers to people seeing UFOs in the sky. Is it ET? Is it ours? Is it reversed engineered technology from extraterrestrials? Right. If they were visiting planet Earth, we have to ask ourselves, why? Are they looking at the evolution of humanity? Are they just looking at the planet with its beautiful vegetation and all of its landscapes? Is it because they are maintaining their original home world? Are they just doing some research on it, right? (55:37) We have to look at all of these things. But I think one of the last answers would be that they are our saviors. You will hear that from time to time, depending on where you look to when you begin to look into the UFO phenomenon, because there are those that think that extraterrestrials are our space brothers. (55:55) They are here to save us, protect us, give us the answers to cancer, save our environment in totality and all of these things. And while I would love for that to be the case, that'd be amazing. Heck yes, right? We have to think, oh, I would say a little bit more realistically and say, well, if that's the case, why didn't they do that already? We're in modern times in 2023 and things are falling apart right in front of us. (56:23) Where are they now? How come they aren't here? How come they aren't saving us? People will say they're doing it behind the scenes. Okay, I mean, maybe that's a great answer that people can buy. But just like yourself, I want the facts. I want the tangible evidence, right? I want to see them or anything related to ET, right? Because we can't just go off of blind faith. (56:51) And so could they be visiting us? It's a possibility, but we have to ask ourselves why, for what purpose, right? And could there be different races, different species? Why not? Can't there be some living here right now? Sure. Why don't they look human? It'd be so easy for them just to walk to Walmart and no one would even blink an eye. (57:12) Number one is Walmart has some interesting people that do look very alien, but they claim to be human. Or are they? Serious question. I went to Walmart today. Okay. And I, and I, and I saw some, I saw some strange people. I really did. And if you ever come to the States for the first time, go to Walmart, check it out. (57:35) It's fun. And you find almost everything that you need. So the one thing that you do need, you won't find it happened to me today. I was very upset. The one I went to the store for one thing. And of course I bought 10 things. Okay. I went, I went for one specific thing and you know what? Of course, of course they didn't have it. (57:55) I was very upset, but that's just how it is. Okay. Okay. let me see chris says have you ever thought that the beings could be dangerous and attack sure sure there could be multiple different species some that are malevolent some that are malevolent could they attack yeah but then why haven't they already i think now is like the perfect time to do that if they wanted to that could just be kind of hidden in the mess that's happening right now Um, why haven't they, or have they been doing it behind the scenes, right? (58:39) We can ask ourselves all of these questions, but when we're looking at this aspect, the question would be for what purpose, what would be going through their mindset for them to think, how beneficial will it be to attack the human race? but also we can't place these humanistic ideologies on beings that we know almost nothing about are they much more advanced are they just a little bit more advanced than ourselves in the sense of just kind of creating tech to travel through space traverse through space right or are these are they these enlightened almost enlightened species (59:17) There are all these factors that we have to ask ourselves when we ask the question, could they attack us at any moment? Could they save us at any moment? The question would be, how will it benefit them? What purpose will it bring them? Or is that mentality too human to place onto a species that, again, we know nothing about? That's what makes it kind of difficult. (59:43) Peace of mind says, do you think there's a spiritual connection with the aliens? This is a question that a lot of people ask. There's many different branches. I'm going to call them branches to our paths or journeys to the UFO phenomenon. You have the historical path. You have like the scientific path near the spiritual path. (1:00:01) The spiritual path, I'll tell you, I won't say that. The spiritual path, people think of there is a connection there, that those that have had contact are contacted usually telepathically, that they are given downloads of how to save the planet or save themselves and these aspects to it. Also, this level of consciousness into this. (1:00:24) Well, we could ask ourselves this very question. people that have mentioned that they have been in contact with angels maybe even with demons maybe even with those that portray themselves as god because they do not originate here on earth doesn't that make them alien isn't that a spiritual aspect to that and so when people and i read the comments to the best of my ability and people say oh all aliens are demonic they're all demons Um, well, if we look at the aspect of demons, the majority of them, that's like you're super angry person. (1:01:01) You turn into a demon. A lot of them do not originate on earth as the story goes. Therefore, therefore they are aliens. And then you hang that spiritual aspect to it. Don't you think? I think so. I've been sitting on that for a while. I just feel like in that's just a potential answer. android says that's why you shop online instead of in a store referring to my walmart comment i do but like some things you need immediately okay something like this particular item i needed two day and the store i mean the online store could not have helped me in several days i needed two day because it's a leak all right it is a leak that it's happening and i can't wait i don't want to get the floral warped or gross okay so (1:01:54) Now we know, but yes, people at Walmart. Yes. It's fun. Okay. Father Jack is here. That would be an ecumenical matter. Yes. Okay, this particular episode. And I so badly want to screenshot this one aspect of this particular episode. Why? Thank you, Jack, for coming up here. And that's because you have three bishops that come into Father Ted's parish. (1:02:21) And one of the bishops converts from Catholicism to becoming a hippie. And here's why. Because in this particular episode, Father Dougal brings up the movie Aliens. And he says, Ted, priests love aliens. Turns out one of the bishops says, Catholicism, I'm not buying it. But aliens, I can get behind that. (1:02:47) And I was like, this is my brain in a nutshell. Like, it's religious studies and aliens and humor. All of those things. And it's one of the best episodes of all time. Okay? One of the best. Not the best. But it's high up there. It really is. So good. And Sean, thank you for that. Thank you so much. Now, when I... So... (1:03:14) When it comes to this word, Sean, I so bad every time want to say sheen so bad. Why? Because there's no W. There's no H in Sean. That's how you pronounce it. It's like it's like the word kernel. When you look at that word for the very first time, you think to yourself, that is not how you pronounce it. (1:03:35) You are out of your mind, but that's how you pronounce it. Colonel. But there's not a single R in that word. It bothers me so much, like to a level that I will start turning pink, but I'm learning foundation. So you will not see that. So that's beneficial to me, but it's just a few words. (1:03:53) I really just get, get in there. Okay. Um, thank you. That is so nice of you. Thank you so much, Sean. Now you entered my mind of the name and I'll never forget it. I'll never forget that name. Anyone's name. That's the name, Sean. Cause I have to like take a second to like take a deep breath and then say it properly. (1:04:15) Watching from Twitch. Fantastic. I do stream on Twitch. Like I think for almost all of all of my shows, if you are a Twitch watcher, you can find it there as well. So thank you. I said that wrong, but thank you for watching that over there. on twitch and on a podcast but you'll see that a little bit later it won't be live obviously people are all commenting about the word kernel yeah what once you like really simmer on it you really sit on that it bothers bothers you I'm glad Tyler liked that episode of Father Ted. (1:05:04) That is the best. Let me see if you have any other questions. Again, you can put those questions in all caps, please. So I can just read them a lot easier. Instead of having to scroll through and just kind of guess. Let me... Mark says, what cryptid do you believe could be factual? So one of the cryptids that has the most research done on it is Bigfoot. (1:05:57) But Bigfoot, there hasn't been any evidence, even in 2023, that is so compelling for people to say it's obviously real. But it is one that has the most, I wouldn't even use the word data, but like the most attention to it compared to maybe a pukwudgie from the Bridgewater Triangle or a leprechaun, right? I think that one, it does have a lot of, substance to it father jack says how can i support your rv fund find fundings findings fundings thank you for just asking that question um the best way is definitely through patreon um also through paypal as well because all of that funding goes straight to the rv where i will be blogging it and vlogging it excuse me and then all that content will be for you on youtube and that that's (1:06:54) That's how it's going to benefit everyone. So it'll help me to get on the road, but it'll also be making really unique content that we don't see as much on YouTube when it comes to the mysterious and traveling simultaneously. And it's something that I've been planning since my senior year in high school and still saving up a little bit before purchasing that RV. (1:07:21) So. But I will say that like my day job is very boring and mundane on that. And that's all for those that are asking about my job. Now, you know, it's boring and mundane. Let's see. Jonathan says, have you have so have we settled on the name of the RV hashtag ramen wagon? We're going to hold on to that because when you see it for the first time, a name comes to you. (1:07:52) All right. But Robin Wagon is definitely is definitely on the list, like on the top two right there. And of course, we will all figure that out together what we're going to name it. um let's see put your questions in all caps please dope nose says will you okays or do some ambient music based on the dune universe okays oh okays i don't think i said that right but um funny enough i've already done a whole ambient track On dune already. (1:08:35) You can find it on my music channel called cosmic portals And that is for those. I don't know. It's a space ambient music channel where I make all the music And it's it's ambient music to help you relax to meditate to allow your imagination to wander And I originally made that channel again. (1:08:55) It's called cosmic portals to help me sleep as I do suffer from insomnia so And it's worked But also like White Noise, I've made, I just released yesterday a Doctor Who TARDIS one for eight hours, you know, because yesterday was Christmas, right? And they had a Christmas special. So take a look at that music channel. (1:09:19) It is called Cosmic Portal. Thank you, Peace. Okay, now I know. Okays is Smith spelled for please. Thank you. Um, Shardle says, give us your top alien themed movies. Definitely Close Encounters. Like obviously classic. You could never go wrong with that one. That's like my number one. My second one, of course, you can't, you really can't go wrong with the classics like Alien and Predator. (1:09:52) And I roll my eyes almost because you're going to hear these a million trillion times, but they're actually really good. But Close Encounters, number one. All the episodes of the twilight zone. I know it's not even a movie. Don't care. Number one on top of close encounters. Okay. I said it. I put it up there. (1:10:10) I really, really did. Let me see some other really fantastic movies. There haven't really been any recent ones. I despised the movie. Nope. It got raving reviews. I could not stand that movie. There were so many loose ends. Nothing made sense. The first hour was so slow and boring. Okay. That one's not on my list. (1:10:33) Those are going to disagree with me. It's fine. Don't care. Do not recommend. Oh, oh, oh, the other movie. Amazing. Childhood's End. One, all three movies. Highly recommend. Okay. So you have Twilight Zone, Close Encounters, Childhood's End. Childhood's End. You are set for the weekend right there with those movies slash TV shows. (1:11:00) You need to watch them if you haven't already. Amazing. Childhood's End is originally a book, but the movie's honestly really good as well. Tim says, license plate put Go Puck for Puck the Puck Wedgie. That's a good one. Lou says, please name it the Wedgie Wagon. That's an awesome name. (1:11:28) That's so funny. Let's see. Anders says, do you read the live chat after the show? Rarely. I rarely do. Sometimes, but not too often. Oh, Independence Day is also a really good one. Yeah, I like that one. Stargate, can't go wrong with that. Galaxy Quest, Jimmy had to get me to watch it. It's actually funny. (1:12:05) I enjoyed it. Would I put it on my top list? No. Predator, yep. X-Files, yeah. Fourth Kind, that was interesting as well. I liked it. If you have any like finishing or like last questions, put them up. We'll just be keeping on for about another 15 minutes and then we will be done for our once a year AMA. (1:12:30) Sasha, thank you for that. buckaroo bonanza has christina written all over it bonsai i don't know why i said bonanza i was thinking of i was thinking of doogle up in here father doogle but um thank you i don't know what that means but thank you anyway forbidden planet also good constantine i haven't seen it super eight yeah it's a good one too oh don't forget in search of oh yeah oh yeah that one's a classic Knowing people are throwing in good movies and TV shows in here. (1:13:04) Yes. Kurt, that's a fantastic movie. And also, yes. Mike says, why only once a year AMA? Cause it's a special moment. I want to make, I want to make these AMAs special. When you do them more than once, they don't become special anymore. So when we do one and we, we do one actually at the end of the year, um, This is the third one we've done. (1:13:31) We do one every single year, just once. I think one year I did it twice. My guest at the time like bailed on me last minute. And I said, what am I going to do? I already planned a show. Might as well do an AMA. And so that's the story behind one of them. But the rest of them have been planned. Only done the year. (1:13:54) Now you know. Let's see. Your last questions. Put them in. Please. Let's see. They haven't. They haven't seen it yet. Soon. Very soon. Oh, oh. John's watching my stuff. He says, so what did you make with all the pumpkins you purchased? I made pumpkin soup and the most amazing pumpkin pasta sauce. (1:14:36) It was like Alfredo, but with pumpkin as the base. No, it was so good. It was so good. So that's all I made with it. Daniel says, have you ever seen Enemy Mine? I have not. I've never seen it. Is it like really good? I thought it was really good. So, okay. I'll look into that one. Because why not? What's your favorite ghost site, says Marty. (1:15:12) Honestly, I think like any of the Wild West locations or like ghost towns. Those are pretty cool. I know every location has their own haunted spot. There's something new about that. But I feel that the ones that had cowboys in them, those are probably freakishly haunted that I'd like to go visit. (1:15:40) Let's see. Oh, the French TV show? Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Classic. Lou, thank you for that. That is so nice. Thank you. Let's see. We're going to wrap it up. Uh, P says, do you still have a cat? No, my cat, my cat passed away and I was very sad. And so no, I don't have it. I don't have a cat right now. (1:16:11) Permanator. Thank you for that. Hi, Christina. Sorry. Late to the show about the vacuum tail. Do you think it could have been a kind of spirit alert to toxic chemicals? Even for us cats just learned about their risks today. That's a good question. I don't I don't I'm not I'm not sure. I'm not sure about that, though. (1:16:32) I do know that cats hate vacuums most of the time. So my cat was on the side of the place when he saw the vacuum. dj says did you watch resident alien hilarious show i watched the first season i really liked it i didn't like the second season so i just i watched the first two episodes and i just i didn't enjoy it so i i never finished watching it but it was it was a promising tv show i think it was good at first and just went downhill so quick in my opinion stranger things classic can't go wrong with that okay (1:17:11) So one hand has been bothering me all day, going to my eyeball. But thank you for everyone that caught today's live show. Thank you for everyone that was watching this AMA with me. I'm going to do once a year for Thursday. For Mysteries of the History, it'll be Jimmy and I. And we will be talking about what we can expect in 2024.
