remember how there were stories of helicopters chasing drones in New jersey, only for the helicopter to turn around because the pilot felt unsafe? Yeah, people are forgetting about that. But one thing that has remained constant is that usually when a UFO is seen military jets, and helicopters are trailing it very closely. Also in taiwan, of all places, had an incredible ufo resort that you probably never heard of, and it is now in shambles. Welcome to UFO news updates. Helicopter ufo chase A Huntington, NY resident reported witnessing an unusual aerial event on the evening of February 24th. While eating dinner with family, at around 6:35 PM, the resident said they "heard an unusually disruptive helicopter sound through closed windows".and so he did what anyone would do and went outside to investigate. There, they observed what appeared to be a Blackhawk helicopter with red blinking lights seemingly pursuing a "bright warm white ball of light" in the night sky. The resident alerted their family and ran to their driveway to continue watching as the objects moved across the sky before disappearing behind trees. According to their report filed with the National UFO Reporting Center, the glowing object was distinctly brighter and larger than typical aircraft lights, and was described as a "ball of light" rather than a directional spotlight. The witness later shared their experience on Reddit, where another user reportedly confirmed the helicopter's flight path using publicly available tracking data. Without official confirmation from aviation authorities, the nature of this incident remains unexplained, for now. UFO land Moving on over to Taiwan…. an extraordinary sight captures the imagination: an abandoned "UFO village" composed of futuristic, spaceship-shaped holiday homes. Nestled along a coastal road in the Wanli District near Taipei, this settlement was originally envisioned in the late 1970s as a bold venture into avant-garde vacation living. Developed by a plastics tycoon with grand ambitions, the project aimed to attract wealthy holidaymakers and American servicemen stationed in East Asia during its construction peak in the early 1980s. The circular, pod-like structures, known as Futuro Houses, were designed by Finnish architect Matti Suuronen and shipped to Taiwan, where they were assembled into a unique resort community. Fun fact: fewer than 100 Futuro Houses were built between the late 1960s and early 1970s, with estimates suggesting around 60 to 68 still exist today. They can also be found in Finland, the US, Germany, South Africa, England,Russia, and Australia. Each pastel-colored home featured sci-fi-inspired interiors, including circular beds, compact bathrooms, and built-in furniture, evoking the aesthetic of a low-budget space opera since they were sold for about $12,000 to $14,000, which today would be the equivalent of about $90 to $120k dollars. However, the dream of a thriving UFO-themed retreat never fully materialized. By the mid-1980s, the project stalled due to financial difficulties and a lack of sustained interest, leaving the village incomplete and eerily deserted. Over the decades, nature has reclaimed much of the site, with vegetation creeping over the cracked concrete and faded exteriors. Some homes remain perched on the hillside, their domed roofs and porthole windows still hinting at their otherworldly origins, while others have been demolished or fallen into ruin. Despite its decline, the site has gained a second life as a curiosity for urban explorers, photographers, and tourists drawn to its retro-futuristic charm and haunting atmosphere. Local legends and speculation have only added to the allure of Taiwan’s UFO village. Some attribute its failure to supernatural forces, claiming the land was cursed or disturbed by the spirits of a razed cemetery nearby. Others point to more mundane causes, like poor investment decisions or shifts in tourism trends. While plans for revitalization have occasionally surfaced, the village remains a ghostly testament to a space-age fantasy that never quite took off.
