Congressman Tim Burchett believes entities have been living beneath our waters for potentially thousands of years, and the evidence he is citing comes directly from Navy personnel. As always, I'm here to report the information without bias, and you can decide what to believe. You can find all the sources in my detailed articles at UFONews.co along with in the description box below. Hey, UFOlogers, I'm Cristina Gomez, and welcome to this episode of UFO News Updates.
Tim Burchett on Ask a Pol podcast: What if these are entities that are here on this earth, that have been on this earth for who knows how long. And that we, you know, we think they're coming in from way out. Maybe they did millennial ago, but they're here and they're in these deep water areas. And that's why, I mean, like we say, we know more about the face of the moon than we do what's going on there. And we have a higher propensity of sightings around these five or six, I believe, deep area deep water areas and so to me it just creates a question there and then when we have Naval Personnel telling me that we have these sightings and that there's these underwater craft they're chasing that are doing hundreds of miles an hour and the best we've got is something that does maybe just a little under 40 miles an hour so I got a lot of questions about that stuff and I.
Let's walk through exactly what Congressman Burchett laid out in his most recent statements. According to his latest interview with DC journalist Matt Laslow from Ask a Poll, he references there are about 5 or 6 water areas where there's a higher percentage of sightings. And this suggests he has access to data showing concentrated USO activity in specific oceanic regions. And the congressman then reveals the most staggering claim. Naval personnel have directly informed him about these encounters. Let's play that part again.
Tim Burchett on Ask a Pol podcast: Naval personnel telling me that we have these sightings and that there's these underwater they're chasing that are doing hundreds of miles an hour. And the best we've got is something that does maybe just a little under 40 miles an hour.
The speed comparison Burchett mentions is absolutely staggering. Our most advanced military submarines, on average, can reach speeds of roughly 40 mph underwater. Yet, according to these naval reports, these unidentified craft are moving at hundreds of miles an hour, a speed that should be physically impossible given what we understand about underwater dynamics. Water is approximately 800 times denser than air, and the drag forces and cavitation effects at such speeds would create massive turbulence and noise signatures that should easily be detectable. Yet these craft apparently move without conventional propulsion signatures. The fact that a congressman with security clearances admit he has a lot of questions suggests there are classified details he can't publicly discuss.
You know who else said that? Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard on Pod Force One.
Tulsi Gabbard on Pod Force One: And the New Jersey, the strange objects over New Jersey were drones. I still have a lot of questions around that. Oh, yeah. You know, I've heard what the public official line is. I just personally still have a lot of questions that are unanswered. Yeah. Because it wasn't just New Jersey. It was happening in different parts of the country. Oh, really? Yeah.
Burchett is not approaching this topic as an outsider. He sits on the House Committee on Oversight and Accountability, and he is part of a bipartisan group that has consistently pushed for greater transparency from military officials. And following classified briefings, Burchett has been vocal about what he sees as a government cover-up. As noted in The Hill, he stated, there are 10s of millions of dollars that have been spent investigating these things. We have had departments tell us that they have recovery units, but they won't release the full reports.
In the summer of 2023, following the hearings where whistleblowers alleged the government hid information about ultra high tech craft, Burchett asked the intelligence community's inspector general to investigate these claims further. Now, here's where this story gets even more interesting. Burchett appeared on former Congressman Matt Gaetz's One America News show in January of this year, where he expanded on these underwater theories publicly for the first time.
Matt Gaetz on One America News: It does seem a lot of these UAP sightings are over water. Do you think there's anything to that and the basing concepts that you were laying out?
Tim Burchett on One America News: I do. When I've talked to people, or they're sonar people, and the way they hide it from us, Matt, they say it's because our sonar, I believe, I haven't been briefed on this, just from what I'm putting together, but we have some secret sonar. But what's crazy about it, we're hiding it from the Chinese. Well, heck, Matt, the Chinese showed us the components for it. They know it's in our sonar, probably better than we do. But when they tell me something's moving at hundreds of miles an hour underwater, and our capabilities are, I don't think we have anything to do 40 miles an hour, and these things, this one was, it was large as a football field, underwater. And this was a documented case. And I have an admiral telling me this stuff. And it just to me, I think.
Matt Gaetz on One America News: So that's where you think the bases are, is underwater then, because of those reports?
Tim Burchett on One America News: I do, I do. I just think traveling light years. I think it happens. I think it's possible in the vastness of God's great universe. I mean, light years, you know, the light from those stars that we see at night left there before the time of Christ. I mean, the vastness of God's great universe is unreal. And I'm not worried about them harming me. I mean, if they, with that capabilities, they would have. They would have barbecued us a long time ago, bro.
But Burchett went even further, mentioning about how fast these objects are going and how big they are, about the size of a football field. Given that a congressman with access to classified briefings is making these claims based on direct military testimony, what do you think is the most likely explanation? Let me know your thoughts in the comments below.

The phenomena Burchett describes are not new. Unidentified submerged objects have been reported since the early 1950s, primarily by naval personnel and pilots. What makes Burchett's statements significant is that they represent the first time a sitting congressman has openly endorsed the theory that these objects represent non-human intelligence operating from Earth-based locations. Even though we have had presidents discuss their UFO sightings, such as Ronald Reagan and Jimmy Carter, no one in Congress has been as vocal as Tim Burchett, and his claims gain additional credibility when viewed alongside recent whistleblower testimony.
During the July 2023 congressional hearing that Burchett helped organize, former intelligence officer David Grusch testified under oath about a multi-decade UAP crash retrieval and reverse engineering program. He even asked a very difficult question to Grusch back in 2023, that being, has anyone ever been murdered? Here's the clip.
Tim Burchett at July 2023 Congressional Hearing: Should you have any personal knowledge of people who have been harmed or injured in efforts to cover up or conceal these extraterrestrial technology?
David Grusch at July 2023 Congressional Hearing: Yes.
Tim Burchett at July 2023 Congressional Hearing: Personally, have you heard anyone been murdered that you would think that you know of or have heard of? I guess I have to be careful asking that question.
David Grusch at July 2023 Congressional Hearing: I directed people with that knowledge to the appropriate authorities. Maybe in a if we could get it, get in a confidential area skiff, we could talk about that. But unfortunately, we were denied access to the skiff.
Burchett's theory represents a huge paradigm shift. Instead of visitors from space, we might be dealing with indigenous Earth entities that have occupied our oceans far longer than human civilization has existed. If even partially accurate, this would mean the greatest discovery in human history has been hiding beneath the waves all along. Our oceans cover over 70% of Earth's surface and less to 10 to 15% has ever been explored. Do you think our oceans could be hiding evidence of non-human intelligence that has been here longer than we have? What would this mean for our understanding of Earth's history?
