While most people focus on the dramatic September 9th UFO hearing testimony, something else was happening behind the scenes that might be even more significant. Congressman Eric Burlison revealed to Ask a Poll that Congress is taking a new strategic approach, one that could force answers from agencies and contractors who have been stonewalling for decades. Today, we will be breaking down what these investigations really mean and what Jeffrey Nuccetelli's explosive testimony reveals about the broader cover-up. As always, I'm here to report the information without bias and you can decide what to believe. You can find all the sources in my detailed articles at UFONews.co along with in the description box below. Hey, UFOloggers, I'm Cristina Gomez and welcome to this episode of UFO News Updates.
Eric Burlison speaking to Matt Laslo from Ask a Poll: "They, the letters were dropped. There's a whole story there and at a whole bunch of different agencies. We sent it to like four different, with two agencies and two private companies. And so they ended up, the committee staff ended up dropping a lot of the specific requests that we had put in there that David Grusch specifically wrote. They dropped a lot of it and just made a generic request. That was oversight staff, but you know, their view was that it positions them for this, it positions them better legally for getting the information and if they have to subpoena it by making it more generic in the first attempt."
That was Eric Burlison talking to Matt Laslo from Ask a Poll, and what he said is a huge deal. While we do not know which agencies and companies were addressed, we can take a few guesses. And this creates a strategic legal foundation for issuing subpoenas when agencies refuse to provide the requested information. Burlison has been working directly with UFO whistleblower David Grusch, who now serves as a special advisor. And this is not just symbolic. Grusch is actively crafting specific interrogation methods designed to compel disclosure from both government agencies and private contractors.
Eric Burlison speaking to Ask a Poll: "I think that we have a list of names that I'm going to try to reach out to first, and then if they become resistant, then they might go on the subpoena list. Probably for SCIF briefings because I think the list of people, these are people that haven't come forward, right? So they're not going to feel comfortable."
But while Congress develops these legal strategies, the witnesses themselves have to navigate an entirely different challenge, preparing to face the most powerful legislative body in the country without official support. Jeffrey Nuccetelli, who testified about the Vandenberg UAP incident, recently revealed on his podcast the intensive coordination required just to get these military witnesses ready for congressional testimony.
But while Congress develops these legal strategies, the reality for military witnesses is starkly different. Jeffrey Nuccetelli, the Air Force veteran who documented the massive UAP incident at Vandenberg, revealed the personal cost of becoming a congressional witness. Congress provides no financial support, no legal protection, and no guidance for those risking their careers to testify.
Jeffrey Nuccetelli on his podcast: "But I hadn't met any of the other witnesses prior to that, except for like George, of course. And then we really met two days before the hearing, and Jeremy got us all together, and we spent like basically two days together almost nonstop. And that's the thing, like people need to understand, you don't get congressional support for this. You're asked, you know, Alex was in California and they're like, hey, you know, you buy a ticket, you pay your flight out here, you find a hotel in DC, you know, rooms are not cheap. And that's a problem, right? You know, you're asking, the government is asking these military members or veterans to come at their own expense, you know, to come out there. And you know, people are unemployed."
As Nuccetelli explains, witnesses must pay their own travel fees from across the country, find expensive hotel accommodations in Washington, D.C., and take unpaid leave from their jobs, all while facing potential career retaliation for their testimony.
Jeffrey Nuccetelli on his podcast: "And if people knew how deep and dark the retaliation actually goes, the American public would be furious. They would be furious, and they would be shocked, and they would be outraged. And that's where we need to get to. You know, we need to make it safe for people like Dylan to come out and tell the truth, the full story, and shake the American public awake. Because if they found out what was happening to their veterans intentionally by our own government or whoever these bad actors are, they would be outraged and they need to hear that."
Nuccetelli's experience with AARO, the Pentagon's official UFO investigation office, reveals another layer of institutional obstruction. Despite submitting his Vandenberg incident documentation with multiple witness statements and official Air Force reports, his cases never appeared in AARO's historical review. And this pattern of exclusion drives witnesses to seek congressional protection through public testimony.
Jeffrey Nuccetelli on his podcast: "And from what I understand, it was quite a deep pool of people to select from. You know, we heard the rumors that came out about there's no one that wants to testify. I can tell you that's absolutely 100% false. There are plenty of people that would love to testify and that I would love to see testify. And the other guys did testify, you know, with me, would love to see on the stand. Matthew Brown, of course, is number one. We would have loved to have Matthew with us on the stand and there's many more behind him. It's just the issue is, are they safe? Because the hearing is all great, but when it's over, it's over. And then you go back to real life, and if you're not protected, you're not financially secure, and you're worried about, you know, your reputation and your employment, you know, you're on your own after that. There's no support from the government, you know."
The retaliation expands far beyond career impacts. Nuccetelli describes a coordinated campaign of harassment, employment sabotage, and psychological pressure designed to silence military witnesses. And this creates a chilling effect where potential witnesses see what happens to those who speak out and choose to remain silent.
And this self-organization represents a direct response to institutional failure. While official channels systematically exclude evidence and financially burden witnesses, the solution becomes creating independent support networks that can bypass government gatekeeping entirely. The broader implications is that every witness who testified in September, there are potentially dozens more who remain silent due to these barriers. And this creates a situation where the most compelling evidence may never reach Congress because the system itself prevents witnesses from coming forward.
The September hearing was just the beginning of a broader strategy to force transparency through legal pressure rather than voluntary coordination. With David Grusch now working directly with Congress and witnesses organizing independently, the traditional pattern of stonewalling may finally be breaking down. The coordination between investigative journalists, military witnesses, and congressional representatives represents something new in the UFO disclosure movement, a new approach to overcoming institutional resistance through multiple pressure points. Do you think this new strategic approach of using these types of investigations and subpoenas will be more effective than previous hearing-based methods? Let me know your comments right down below. I'm Cristina Gomez and that is it for today. I will see you again tomorrow at 10 a.m. PST for another UFO News Update. Be safe and remember, keep your eyes on the skies.
