Mexican journalist and television host Jaime Maussan has been at the forefront of a battle with the Peruvian government over the authenticity of several mummified bodies, which he claims are evidence of non-human entities. In a recent interview, Maussan provided updates on the legal proceedings, new scientific findings, and his plans for the future of this groundbreaking discovery.
Maussan has filed a $300 million lawsuit against the Peruvian Ministry of Culture for falsely claiming that the bodies were hoaxes without conducting a proper investigation. This lawsuit comes in response to the government’s confiscation of two handcrafted bodies at the Lima airport in January, which they used to discredit Maussan’s previous presentations.
To support his claims, Maussan has enlisted the help of renowned American forensic scientist, Dr. John McDowell. He investigated the bodies and found them to be real and worthy of further study. One of the most compelling pieces of evidence presented was a pregnant creature which contained a tridactyl fetus. Maussan considers this to be definitive proof of the bodies’ authenticity.
In addition to the pregnant creature , Maussan presented other bodies, including a young child and a teenager, each displaying unique characteristics that set them apart from human remains. He plans to recover over 100 bodies and parts for further investigation at American and European universities. Ultimately, Maussan aims to preserve the bodies and exhibit them in a museum in Nazca, Peru, for the benefit of the local people and to boost tourism in the area.
However, the Peruvian Ministry of Culture’s sudden interest in the bodies, after previously refusing to investigate, has raised suspicions of a potential cover-up.
As the legal battle continues, Maussan plans to negotiate with the Peruvian government to continue the investigation and build a museum in Nazca to display the bodies.
