Proposal for a UAP Subcommittee

U.S. Representative Eric Burlison, alongside colleagues including Tim Burchett, Jared Moskowitz, Anna Paulina Luna, Andy Ogles, Nancy Mace, Troy Nehls, and Matt Gaetz, has urged Speaker Mike Johnson and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries to establish a specialized subcommittee dedicated to investigating UFOs. This call to action seeks to address the opaque financial support and complex relationships between government bodies and private entities in UAP inquiries. By shedding light on the government’s handling of UAP investigations and the utilization of taxpayer dollars, the proposed subcommittee within the House Committee on Oversight and Accountability aims to deepen understanding of UAP’s implications on national security, ensure fiscal responsibility, and bolster public confidence, advocating for a model of governance rooted in transparency and informed citizenship.

Roswell Police Embrace Extraterrestrial Heritage with New Patch Design

Official Patch

The Roswell Police Department introduced a new patch last Friday, intertwining the city’s rich history with the Roswell Crash in 1947. The fresh emblem features the city’s official logo, a flying saucer casting a beam that forms the letter “R,” encircled by the motto “Protect and Serve Those That Land Here,” and flanked by illustrations of friendly alien visages. Police Chief Lance Bateman announced that they hope to roll out the complete integration by year-end. This update, the first in over 30 years, came as a result of internal feedback, with Support Services Sgt. Trong Nguyen’s design — selected via an employee vote from a dozen submissions — capturing the staff’s favor. Beyond its playful nod to the city’s UFO legacy, the patch also pays tribute to New Mexico’s heritage, incorporating the state’s Zia Pueblo-inspired sun symbol, marrying local pride with an imaginative nod to Roswell’s unique cultural identity.

This achievement builds on previous records, including a 62.8 trillion digit calculation by a Swiss supercomputer in 2021 and a 50 trillion digit effort by Timothy Mullican in 2020, showcasing the relentless pursuit of mathematical and technological excellence.
