The Alaska Triangle

The Alaska Triangle, stretching from Utqiagvik to Anchorage and Juneau, is as famous for its picturesque landscapes as it is for the mysteries that lurk within. Dubbed Alaska’s Bermuda Triangle, this area is a hotbed for UFO sightings, paranormal encounters, and an alarmingly high rate of disappearances. Since 1988, over 16,000 people have vanished here, a rate that doubles the national average. Among these are notable cases such as the 1950 disappearance of a military C-54 Skymaster and the 1972 vanishing of a plane carrying U.S. House Majority Leader Hale Boggs and former Alaska Congressman Nick Begich, both leaving no trace despite extensive searches.

UFO Twice the Size of Aircraft

Continuing the intrigue within the Alaska Triangle, one of the most compelling UFO encounters involved Captain Kenju Terauchi of Japan Airlines Flight 1628. In November 1986, while flying from Paris to Tokyo, Captain Terauchi and his co-pilot spotted a colossal UFO, described as twice the size of an aircraft carrier, trailing them near Fort Yukon. The aftermath of going public with his experience led to Terauchi being stipped of his wings and assigned to an office job, a move that highlighted the stigma faced by those who report UFO sightings.

The Menacing Nantinaq

Another fearsome legend is the Nantinaq, akin to an ancient Bigfoot, notorious for its alleged role in the disappearance and deaths in Portlock during the early 1900s. Reports of a woodchopper killed by a supernatural force, along with the discovery of multiple bodies and unusual phenomena like strange illnesses and uprooted trees, led to the mass exodus of the village by 1949.

BUT

The question remains: Why is this area a nexus for such phenomena? Is there a connection between the missing people, UFO encounters, and sightings of strange beings, or are these isolated mysteries?

Did Russia Know All Along..?

In a twist of historical context, Alaska, merely 55 miles from Russia and purchased by the United States in 1867 for $7.2 million, leaves one to ponder: Was Russia aware of the land’s mysterious nature, or is it all just coincidence?
